EBONITE INTERNATIONAL BRINGS WMC TO THE WORLD

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Ebonite International, Inc. will be bringing to the world — live — the World Men’s Championship from Germany beginning Aug. 12.
The third annual event will take place at the Dream-Bowl Palace in Unterföhring, near Munich.
The Dream-Bowl Palace, which opened last year, is a 52-lane state-of-the-art facility and is the largest bowling facility in Europe. This year’s championship will feature 400 players from 69 countries.
Ebonite International, Inc., along with Kegel, will sponsor the live streaming digital video at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bowlingdigital-tv, with commentaries in English. The video will be offered tape-delayed in other languages as well.

COLUMBIA 300 CAUSING MAYHEM, AGAIN
Bowling center owners and managers be forewarned for the anarchy that Jan 14, 2010 is guaranteed to bring when bowling ball manufacturer Columbia 300 releases its Total Bedlam.
“The Total Bedlam is the polar opposite of the Bedlam,” said Columbia 300 Brand Manager Chad Murphy “It is more aggressive and will have more total hook than the Bedlam.”
There will be screaming and crying, prayers and promises when this ball, which features a new cover stock, new finish and new core, with its incomparable strength is released.
The new asymmetrical Bedlam Version 2.0 core will drive this ball to hook earlier while the Full Tilt 6.0 cover stock, which is first sanded three times with 500 and then 4000 grit Abralon®, gives it enough traction to stay on the oiliest lanes for a dramatic move into the pocket.
“This is a big hooking ball,” Murphy said. “Everybody says ‘hook sells;’ well come and get it!”
The orange, purple and blue ball is the strongest ball Columbia 300 has made to date, according to Murphy.
“It will cut through (the oil) and find its way into and through the pins regardless of how heavy the oil is,” he said. “The Total Bedlam was designed to be a prequel and a complement to the Bedlam and it will read places on the lane that the Bedlam won’t and vice versa.”
The madness will begin Jan. 14, 2010.
